This privacy policy describes the treatment of information provided or collected on our websites and related games, applications, content, widgets or services. This privacy policy is designed to provide transparency into our privacy practices and principles, easy to read and understand.

    We focus on educational games for children aged 2 to 10. Our websites, applications and services are intended to be for the whole family, including young children under parents supervision.

    This privacy policy is effective from the date of publication on our website. From time to time, at our discretion and without prior notice, we may change this privacy policy. Amendments will be effective as of the moment of publications on website. Please, check periodically our Privacy Policy for any changes.

    We may collect two types of information: non personal data and personal data which require different treatment.

  4. Non personal data: definition and use

    For purpose of this Privacy Policy, “Non personal data” means information that does not directly or indirectly identify and cannot reasonably be used to identify a User. In addition non personal data means also “aggregate information” or “anonymous information”, information about groups or categories  which does not identify and cannot reasonably identify a User or where any personal identifiable data has been removed.

    Upon install of our mobile applications,  we share some information with Vendors or other services providers for analytics purposes. This requires the display of aggregate information such as (but not limited to) numbers of downloads and related countries.

    We may use tools or third party analytic software that automatically collect and use non personal data for us, including but not limited to devices properties (ex. IP address or device ID), device software platform and firmware, geolocation data. Those tracking data (that do not identify you personally and are not associated with any registration account) may be disclosed to and used by our partners and contractors for purpose of analyzing usage of our sites or products, advertisement serving, managing and providing our activities and to further develop our products, services and activities.

    We collect information about your activity on our and/or third parties websites and mobile applications using tracking technologies such as cookies, flash cookies and web beacons or similar technologies. This tracking data is used for many purposes such as, but not limited to:

    • analyze the traffic
    • monitor interest on our product
    • optimize or improve our services and operations
    • deliver relevant content based on users preferences

We may collect demographic and locations information as well as information logged from the user’s hardware or device such us, but not limited to, IP address, geo-location information, device ID, internet and on line usage information. The IP address is associated with your internet access point and it is typically controlled by your Internet Service provider (ISP). The use of information collected by these companies is subject to their own privacy policies. These ad serving technologies are part of our services: users who don’t want to be subject to this technology shouldn’t access our websites and on-line services or use our mobile applications.

    We may display behaviorally targeted advertising to users. You may choose not to receive targeted advertising: please visit www.facebook.com/about/privacy or www.networkadvertising.org . Opting out doesn’t mean you will no longer receive on line advertising. It does mean that the company or the companies from which you opted out will no longer deliver ads tailored to your web preferences and usage patterns.   5. Personal data: definition and use

    For the purpose of this Privacy policy, “personal data” means information that personally and specifically identifies a user as an individual directly or indirectly. If a non-personal data is associated to personal information, this non personal data is also treated as personal information.

    We may use personal and non personal data both individually or combined together for analysis purposes, to improve our customer service and technical support, to develop our products and our communication.

    We collect personal data/information you provide to us when:

    • you request information or technical support
    • you register to our newsletter
    • you register for contests or special events
    • you access website or applications using a third party ID such as social networking sites
    • otherwise you may interact with us

    If you request information or technical support, your personal data is used only for those purposes and to respond to specific inquiry.

    If you register to our newsletter, you will receive messages with informative about us and/or commercial content about Ebooks&kids and/or new features and/or special offers or updated information.

    If you register for contests or special events, your personal data is used only for those purposes.

    If you access using social networking sites, we may be able to collect any additional personal information you has included in your social networking public profile only if the social networking site permits it and only if you allow the social networking site to make that information available.

    The type of personal data we collect may vary depending on the activity the user is engaged in and may include names, e.mails addresses, specific location of identifiable user (otherwise location is non personal data), birthdates, gender, languages, photos, avatar images, profiles images.

  6. Sharing and disclosing personal data

    We don’t share your personal information with any third party except for communications agency  collaborating with us for special events or contests.

    We may disclose personal data to third parties as required by law in connections with investigation or illegal activity that may expose a user or Ebooks&kids to legal liability, to protect our users and our rights and property, to comply with legal process and in any case we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law.

    We may disclose personal data if necessary to third party in connection with financial operations such as merger or sale of the company itself when providing a due diligence process: however, all data treatment continues under this privacy Policy.

  7. Children’s privacy

    We recognize that children’s protection is very important and we need to provide additional privacy to children.

    We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

    We may collect some personal information about children from parents or legal guardians in order to allow kids to participate in certain contest or features or special events in our website: names, age, city and country, photos or images. If a kid wins a contest, we notify the parent’s or legal guardian’s e-mail address provided to us during the registration process. We may publish the winner’s name, city, state and country, photos on our website.

    To disclose in our website children personal data, we request written parent’s or legal guardian’s consent and we require high level of verification to confirm that consent. We will require parents to sign a specific written permission/authorization form along with a copy of passport or id card or credit card information.

    Please, all parents and legal guardians should keep updated their current e-mail addresses.

    At any time parents or legal guardians can request that any personal information collected about their children be deleted from our records. Please send a detailed request, with data you provided along with a copy of your passport or ID card (to prevent misuses of requests for information) to info@ebooks-kids.com.

  8. Third party terms and conditions

    Please remember that when you provide to us information on third-party sites or platforms, such as (but not limited to) applications stores, social networking services and payment providers, the information you provide may be separately collected to those third parties, under their own privacy policies and practices. We are not responsible for any of their actions, use of information, products or services.

  9. Data security and integrity

    The security and confidentiality of personal data are extremely important to us. We store them in secure operating environment, providing reasonable care and due diligence and we use technical and administrative measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, use or modification. Though, please be aware that no security measures are impenetrable despite out best efforts.

    Your personal data will only be stored for the period necessary to fulfilled the purposes as described in this Privacy Policy.
